Policy Advocacy Campaign
PURPOSE | CARE USA, with a coalition of global humanitarian and development organizations, wanted to bolster congressional support for the GROWTH Act, mobilizing money and resources to support microfinance initiatives.
CHALLENGE | CARE’s microfinance program, “Access Africa,” had collected and analyzed years of documented successes highlighting the impact of village savings and loan associations. Results were packaged in a 168-page report that few policymakers would read.
SOLUTION | Our team helped CARE elevate critical information, coordinate advocates, and align congressional champions with:
IMPACT | Over two weeks, CARE’s ads generated more than 12 million impressions on sites like Microfinance Focus and Womenable, with over 3,000 people clicking through to the campaign’s website.

Relaunching iconic tool for women’s empowerment
Digital Campaign
PURPOSE | To capitalize on “word of mouse” campaigns, CARE needed help digitizing its iconic CARE Package to help fund and support initiatives empowering women around the world.
CHALLENGE | A vote on the International Violence Against Women Act loomed large and CARE was racing the clock to launch the rebranded tool, engage supporters, and build momentum leading up to the vote.
SOLUTION | Working with the Policy Advocacy team, we helped imagine a fundraising and advocacy campaign to increase awareness and energy around the CARE Package and IVAWA vote.
IMPACT | CARE successfully launched its digital CARE Package and Lobby Day in time for the IVAWA vote, which passed with overwhelming support.
