Stakeholder Research & Message Development

PURPOSE | Leadership in the Gates Foundation’s Agricultural Development program wanted to emphasize the program’s approach and scope to critical stakeholders like decision makers in developing-country governments, implementation partners, and donor-country governments. 

CHALLENGE | Given the vast scope and work of the Agricultural Development program, important aspects of the program’s work, like its focus on social and policy issues, were not breaking through to critical audiences as much as its integration of technological solutions to agricultural challenges.

SOLUTION | Provide program staff with clear, aspirational messages explaining the Agricultural Development program’s focus and impact that complemented the Foundation’s overall narrative, principles and mission. Insights and recommendations were shared through:
