HACKING FOR GOOD

Hacking – the term once reserved for online trouble-making – is now a grassroots movement that invites entrepreneurs to apply their passion to solve both serious and fun challenges.

Big organizations like Google’s Jigsaw, UNICEF, and the US Institute of Peace-affiliated Peace Tech Lab are exploring how these bright ideas can support peacebuilding operations. However, student-led events like design challenges and hackathons are also contributing to the effort in an exciting way.
