PURPOSE | In it inaugural year as a stand-along event, the Halifax International Security Forum aimed to bring together top military, civilian, and thought leaders to discuss critical security challenges facing the world.
CHALLENGE | With a streamlined team, Halifax needed full support creating its brand and value-add, attracting notable speakers, garnering media coverage, and producing real-time content for followers during its first Annual Forum.
SOLUTION | Working on a tight timeframe, my team and I conducted a competitive landscape analysis, identifying opportunities to differentiate and highlight Halifax’s offering, and leveraged findings to guide rollout and event production.
IMPACT | The Halifax Forum has been hailed as the “Davos of Security;” coverage for the first year surpassed 800 articles spanning 300 outlets, reaching more than 400 million readers
