PURPOSE | The Knight Foundation’s Black Male Engagement initiative sought to recognize, reinforce and resource black men from all walks of life who were assets to their communities, and to engage others in making communities stronger.
CHALLENGE | The Knight Foundation’s initiative was not the first of its kind, and they needed help structuring and communicating its mission and benefits in a unique and motivating way.
SOLUTION | Following an extensive analysis of the initiative’s competitive landscape, my team and I helped BME launch its pilot programs by providing:
IMPACT | Since its launch, BME has raised $450,000 in prize money, awarding 40 black men for serving as community role models.
