PURPOSE | Connect to Learn, an initiative of Millennium Promise, was charged with realizing the second Millennium Development Goal of universal primary education. It needed to build, launch, and scale its ICT4Ed programs across Africa.
CHALLENGE | Connect to Learn wanted to have immediate impact on the lives of children, and sought our help to build the brand, social media presence, fundraising strategy, and website as it deployed its staff and institutional partners to the field. Time and resources were scarce and the need for success critical.
SOLUTION | Leveraging the UN’s education celebrity ambassadors, institutional partners’ networks, and strategically-timed fundraising campaigns, my team helped Connect to Learn have immediate impact and sustain its long-term operations.
IMPACT | Connect to Learn exceeded its fundraising goals, and has for over four years provided free, quality primary education to over 40,000 girls in 14 countries across Africa.
